QualiTech is seeking a Technical Sales Agronomist to drive sales growth and business development. This role combines agronomic expertise, technical sales, and strategic expansion.

Plant Nutrition / Specialty Crops

Location: Remote (Home Office)

Territory: CA (San Joaquin & Sacramento Valleys, CA Coast) + Pacific Northwest

Travel: 50-70%

Job Summary

QualiTech is seeking a Technical Sales Agronomist to drive sales growth and business development. This role combines agronomic expertise, technical sales, and strategic expansion.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve sales targets
- Develop growth strategies
- Build relationships with growers, PCAs, distributors
- Design crop nutrition programs
- Provide technical support
- Conduct field trials
- Train teams
- Maintain CRM and forecasts
- Utilize proprietary software for nutrient optimization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of practical working experience in agriculture, with emphasis in specialty crop production, agronomy, plant nutrition, agriculture sales.
  • Background in territory growth, and customer relationship management within the agricultural industry, including grower, PCA, distribution relationships.
  • Demonstrated business development experience, including opening new markets, expanding retail partnerships, or supporting branch growth initiatives.
  • Field-level agronomic experience with the ability to work directly with growers, PCAs, and retail partners to develop crop nutrition programs and recommendations.
  • Expertise utilizing proprietary software, agronomic tools, or nutrient management platforms to support blend recommendations and crop planning.
  • PCA and/or CCA certification required. Advanced degree or PHD in Agronomy or in related field is appreciated.
