Website Content Administrator - Contract
Position Overview:
The Contract Website Content Administrator will create, manage, and optimize content across Laerdal.com using the Optimizely (Episerver) CMS. This role ensures that all web content is accurate, consistent, high-quality, and aligned with Laerdal's brand, marketing campaigns, and product launch needs. The editor will support global marketing teams by maintaining an efficient, user-focused web experience that strengthens customer engagement and supports commercial outcomes.
This is an Independent Contract role, working 3-4 days a week (21-28 hours) with fixed working hours.

Salary Range: $50-$57 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and publish website content using Optimizely CMS, including pages, blocks, and structured templates.
- Maintain high content quality through strong editorial standards, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Implement SEO and UX best practices to improve discoverability, engagement, and overall site performance.
- Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, and Design teams to support product launches, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure all content adheres to Laerdal brand and accessibility guidelines.
- Monitor site metrics and user behavior to propose content updates and improvements.
- Troubleshoot content-related issues and coordinate with technical teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Web Design, Digital Media, or related field.
- 4-7 years experience managing content within Optimizely or an equivalent enterprise CMS environment.
- Ideal candidate must be located in the United States
- Flexibility to work 3-4 days a week (21-28 hours), with fixed working hours
- Pre-established LLC is preferred
- Proficiency with Optimizely (Episerver) CMS, including publishing workflows, content blocks, and template structures.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent grammar, clarity, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and foundational web publishing principles.
- Understanding of SEO, UX, accessibility standards, and digital best practices.
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Optimizely experimentation tools)
