Truffle Magnum Ice Cream Bar Available Just in Time for the Summer

New designs, new packaging and new flavors make Magnum ice cream bars more refreshing for the summer season.

In March, Magnum marked its 10th anniversary in the US. This Unilever brand introduced a new look, an exciting flavor and celebrated with the brand’s friends to start the year off right and excite customers this summer.

Magnum launched a new campaign that features the company’s spokesperson, Rachel Bilson, leaping over traffic for a Magnum Ice Cream Bar.

Rebecca Minkoff, Alli Webb and Kéla Walker are more brand lovers who will join Rachel on Instagram to highlight the brand’s ability to share celebrative moments associated with Magnum ice cream.

“We’re excited to celebrate 10 momentous years of Magnum ice cream as a leading ice cream brand in the US. From launching the first and only double-dipped ice cream bar in the US to our fan-favorite Magnum Pop-Up Bars, celebration, self-expression, and indulgence are key tenets to every Magnum ice cream experience,” said Russel Lilly, VP of US Ice Cream at Unilever, in a press release. “We look forward to celebrating our anniversary with a refreshed look, an indulgent new truffle-inspired ice cream bar line, as well as a fun moment for brand friends and fans to get involved and share their favorite moments enjoying ice cream.”

In addition to Magnum’s famous ice cream bars, the brand introduced a new line of Magnum ice cream truffle bars. Those are inspired by the rich and sweet decadence of chocolate truffles which have been introduced in three flavors: MINI Dark Chocolate Truffle, MINI Berry Truffle and Double Chocolate Vanilla Truffle.

The most popular Magnum ice cream bars include the Classic, which balances Magnum’s chocolate coating with a velvety smooth vanilla ice cream. Other popular flavors include the White, a vanilla ice cream wrapped in Magnum’s white chocolate. And finally, their famous Almond flavor adds a crunch to their classic magnum ice cream bar.

Additionally, since the mark of Magnum’s 10th anniversary, they have introduced new packaging for their ice creams, including a new mouth-watering photo of chocolatey bars and tubs. They are also introducing a new logo design and showcasing their cacao percentage while focusing on their use of real Belgian chocolate, shown directly on the packaging as seen in the image above.

Even though Magnum celebrated its 10th anniversary in the US, Magnum was first introduced in 1989 in Belgium, which is why its ice creams feature premium Belgian chocolate. Originally, they launched only the classic chocolate flavor. In 1992 they realized that one flavor was not enough, which is when the classic three magnum ice cream bar flavors were introduced. Since then, Magnum has introduced Truffles, Classics, Doubles, Minis, Non-dairy and more.
