Associate Scientist – Medical Device Microbiology

Job Description
- Perform various microbiology techniques such as aseptic technique, gowning qualification, endotoxin testing, bioburden testing, sterility testing, and other assay testing.
- Apply GMP guidelines in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Follow SOPs and other guidance from management to complete testing for clients
- Enter data into computer system
- Maintain/calibrate equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or other related degree concentration
- Ability to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship
- Ability to commute to Lancaster, PA each day.

- Strong written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand written procedures
- Strong scientific reasoning skills
- Previous experience in microbiology from college or internships
Additional Information
The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
