Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director, Patient Access & Support to lead the design, launch, and execution of patient access and support programs for our emerging cell therapy portfolio.
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday
Reports to: Vice President, Global Market Access and Government Affairs
Location: Fully Remote
Salary Range: $300,000.00 - $330,000.00

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Executive Director, Patient Access & Support to lead the design, launch, and execution of patient access and support programs for our emerging cell therapy portfolio.
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday
Reports to: Vice President, Global Market Access and Government Affairs
Location: Fully Remote
Salary Range: $300,000.00 - $330,000.00
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 15+ years of progressive experience across Patient Support, Market Access, Trade, or related commercialization functions
- Proven experience leading Patient Support strategy and execution for specialty, rare disease, cell and/or gene therapy product launches
- Deep understanding of the patient access ecosystem, including hub services, field reimbursement, prior authorization, copay, and patient assistance programs
- Experience evaluating, implementing, and optimizing patient support technologies, including CRM and case management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements, including HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, and applicable U.S. regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders ranging from patients and providers to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent preferred)
In this role you will:
- Develop and execute the patient access and support strategy for Immatics' cell and gene therapy portfolio.
- Build and lead patient support programs that facilitate timely therapy access and deliver an exceptional patient and provider experience.
- Establish scalable operating models, processes, and capabilities to support commercial launch readiness.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless patient journey coordination.
- Oversee patient navigation, reimbursement support, financial assistance, and access-related operations.
- Drive launch planning and execution, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with commercialization objectives.
- Develop performance metrics, governance structures, and continuous improvement initiatives to measure program effectiveness and patient outcomes.
- Serve as a key strategic advisor and leader within the broader Market Access organization.
Qualified candidates will participate in a structured interview process, which includes:
- An initial recruiter phone screen (conducted via video)
- A recruiter-facilitated introduction and interview with the hiring leader and key stakeholders (via video)
- A final-stage interview, which may include an in-person meeting at our U.S. Headquarters in Houston, TX
