Full-Time Pharmacist - North Austin Lakeline Blvd
Peoples Rx is a locally owned, independent pharmacy that has served the Austin community for over 40 years. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to support our North Austin locations, including our Lakeline pharmacy and a wellness-focused pharmacy located on a corporate campus.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple practice settings, combining traditional retail pharmacy with a more focused, patient-centered wellness environment.
Position Overview
As a Pharmacist with Peoples Rx, you will work as part of a collaborative team delivering personalized care to our patients. This role may include a mix of shifts between our Lakeline retail pharmacy and our North Austin corporate campus location, offering variety in workflow, patient interaction, and schedule structure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values flexibility, enjoys building patient relationships, and is interested in a more individualized approach to care.

Our pharmacy hours are designed to support a more balanced and sustainable work schedule, with weekday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., shorter hours on Saturdays, and we are closed on Sundays.
Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with all legal and safety standards
• Provide patient counseling and medication guidance
• Collaborate with prescribers to support optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to varying workflows across retail and wellness-focused environments
• Support team operations and maintain an efficient, patient-centered workflow
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas, in good standing
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt across multiple locations
• Prior experience in retail or independent pharmacy preferred
• Immunization certification preferred
• Familiarity with compounding and/or nutritional supplements is a plus

Schedule & Flexibility

• Full-time (30 - 40 hours per week)
• Schedule may include a mix of:
  • Retail pharmacy shifts (Lakeline)
  • Corporate Wellness Center shifts (weekday-focused schedule)
• Some evening and Saturday availability may be required (retail shifts)
