Salary Range: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summary
The Department of Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, is looking to hire a reliable and organized student intern. The candidate will primarily support Dr. Maya Balakrishnan's research mission. The team researches behavioral patterns and disease determinants among patients with chronic liver disease. The position is currently part-time at 16 hours/week, with the opportunity to grow. This position is a good match for people interested in psychology, social sciences, public health, or medicine as a long term career goal. Primary duties will include data collection, entry, and storage; recruiting and consenting patients into studies; assisting with study procedures; carrying out literature reviews; qualitative interviewing, transcription, and preliminary interview coding; performing other duties as assigned.
