Performs assigned clerical and technical functions in the clinical laboratory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
  • High school diploma

• Experience:
  • 1 year laboratory experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record daily temperature for refrigerators, freezers and incubators.
• Clean and maintain assigned equipment.
• Autoclave necessary supplies.
• Aliquot solutions.
• Assist in preparation of samples before processing.
• Organize sample storage.
• Receive and unpack supplies.
• Perform data entry.
• Scan and file documents according to the laboratory protocols.
• Provide administrative assistance.

• Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
