Description

SHINE Technologies is looking for a Summer Marketing Intern to support our team across various initiatives, including content creation, social media management, event support, competitive research, and campaign execution. This Marketing Internship role is perfect for a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy individual who stays up to date on marketing and social trends. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing while collaborating with many departments throughout the company. We're looking for a collaborative team player who brings fresh, out-of-the-box ideas, is eager to learn, and can absorb big concepts while applying them in meaningful ways.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities (Based on Skills & Interests):

Social Media & Content Marketing
  • Assist with scheduling and reporting on social media posts.
  • Create and design social media content using templates.
  • Help produce internal and external email newsletters.
  • Brainstorm and develop engaging content ideas.

Competitive Research & Industry Trends
  • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to inform strategy.

Event & Tradeshow Support
  • Capture event photography and create related social media content.
  • Assist in event preparation, logistics, and campaign execution.

Content Creation & SEO Writing
  • Write SEO-optimized blog posts and articles.
  • Draft social media posts for scheduling consideration.
  • Interview subject matter experts to create video, blog, and social media content.

Additional Support (Based on Experience & Interest)
  • Assist with photography and videography, including filming and editing.
  • Design digital ads and marketing materials.
  • Maintain and update website content.

Requirements

Preferred Skills & Tools (Not Required but a Plus):
  • HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WebFlow, Slack, Wrike, SharePoint, Outlook

Required Skills:
  • Microsoft Program knowledge (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and critical thinking skills

Eligibility for employment is conditioned on the applicant's ability to qualify for access to information subject to U.S. Export Controls. Additionally, applicant's eligibility may be conditioned based upon meeting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements for access to Safeguards Information, which typically requires a pre-employment drug screen, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
