The Procurement Specialist will manage purchasing activities, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Job Description
- Manage purchasing activities to support business needs
- Evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance
- Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services
- Process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Source and vet reliable suppliers to ensure quality and consistency
- Analyze pricing and supply trends to support cost-effective decisions
- Develop procurement strategies to optimize resources while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Proficiency in generating, managing, and tracking Purchase Orders
- Experience with Supplier Evaluation and supplier relationship management
- Skills in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms and agreements
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- Expertise in Procurement processes and best practices
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
