Prior to joining Lucius Labs, Sofia Pezoa received her PhD in Cell Biology, Stem Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Denver and her BS in Biology from Syracuse University. Sofia joined Upside Foods in 2023 on the Media Development team and is now working with Lucius Labs (part of the Upside Group) to develop novel and custom cell culture media formulations.
