Responsibilities:
- Support day to day use, training, and optimization of the Electronic Dental Record, including Epic Wisdom and Dentrix
- Participate in testing and implementation activities for Epic Wisdom upgrades in collaboration with Clinical Informatics
- Develop, maintain, and deliver user friendly EDR training materials and provide ongoing EDR training for clinical staff
- Manage and support dental equipment and devices that interface with the EDR, including DEXIS and scanners
- Collect, validate, and maintain clinical and operational data to support HRSA reporting, peer review, quality activities, and compliance requirements for multiple units
- Support daily dental operations by working closely with providers and clinical teams on trainings, meetings, staff communications, and operational needs
- Represent the Dental Department in outreach and community events, and serve as a liaison with internal teams and community-based partners
- Support coordination, communication, and collaboration across Manhattan and Queens dental practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience using electronic dental records such as Epic Wisdom and Dentrix preferred
- Experience supporting clinical workflows and training in a dental or healthcare setting
- Background in the dental field, such as prior experience as a dental assistant or hygienist, preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to travel between Manhattan and Queens locations as needed
- Salary: $40,000.00 - 48,000.00 per year
