Role: Project Manager
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract
Location: Santa Clara, CA - 5D Onsite

Must Have Skills
Skill 1 - 10+ years of experience as a Technical PM, Product Owner, Engineering PM, or similar role.
Skill 2 - Working understanding of GenAI/LLMs, prompt engineering, vector stores, embeddings, or AI service integrations
Skill 3 - Strong understanding of full stack development concepts (UI frameworks, APIs, databases, DevOps pipelines).

Good To have Skills -
Skill 1 - Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or cloud certifications

Key Responsibilities
Business & Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary focal point between Business teams and Engineering.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions to fully understand business objectives, use cases, and constraints.
• Translate high level business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups, including Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA, Operations, and Leadership.
Project Planning & Execution
• Create detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), delivery roadmaps, and execution plans.
• Define scope, schedule, resource needs, risk mitigation strategies, and dependency maps.
• Drive day to day project execution, tracking progress against committed timelines.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release timelines in agile environments.
• Publish and maintain delivery plans, project documentation, and status dashboards.
Status Reporting & Communication
• Provide timely and transparent communication to all stakeholders-including risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Present weekly/monthly status updates to leadership and business owners.
• Ensure alignment across global teams, working across time zones and facilitating collaboration with offshore development teams.
Technical Leadership
• Collaborate closely with full stack developers, architects, and data/AI teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Understand and review technical designs, solution architectures, and integration approaches.
• Enable teams in leveraging GenAI/AI services, cloud native platforms, and modern full stack frameworks.
Delivery Management
• Ensure end to end delivery quality-from requirements to production deployment.
• Oversee testing strategy, defect triage, UAT coordination, and release readiness reviews.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and handle escalations.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience as a Technical PM, Product Owner, Engineering PM, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of full stack development concepts (UI frameworks, APIs, databases, DevOps pipelines).
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working understanding of GenAI/LLMs, prompt engineering, vector stores, embeddings, or AI service integrations.
• Hands on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with offshore/remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications
• Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, SAFe, or cloud certifications.
• Prior experience managing AI/ML or cloud native product implementations.
• Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, basic SQL queries, and evaluate technical design documents.
