Fusion Innovation is seeking a skilled Strategic Financial Planning Analyst to support financial planning, business operations, contract administration, and facilities-related programming. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with practical experience in strategic planning, governance, compliance, and performance measurement.

This position requires a highly organized professional who can analyze complex financial and operational information, identify risks and opportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of strategic financial and business plans.
  • Analyze financial, contractual, and operational data to identify trends, risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts, metrics, dashboards, and other analytical products to support organizational decision-making.
  • Establish and monitor benchmarks and performance measures aligned with program and business objectives.
  • Prepare decision briefings, reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Support contract and facilities-related programming, administration, governance, compliance, and reporting activities.
  • Review financial and contract data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and adherence to applicable requirements.
  • Assist with risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Apply change management principles to support new initiatives, processes, systems, and organizational improvements.
  • Collaborate with program, financial, contract, facilities, and leadership teams to gather requirements and coordinate deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve financial and operational performance.
  • Translate complex data and business information into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure assigned deliverables are completed on schedule.

Required Skills

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of relevant experience supporting financial management, business operations, contracts, facilities, or program administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of governance and compliance requirements associated with contract and facilities programming and reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:
    • Benchmarking and performance metrics
    • Strategic business planning
    • Change management
    • Data modeling and analytics
    • Creative problem-solving
    • Executive or decision briefings
    • Risk management
  • Working knowledge of financial and contract management systems used for administration, tracking, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat and Windows-based applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and produce accurate work in a deadline-driven environment.

Desired Skills

  • Experience developing dashboards, financial models, forecasts, or executive-level reporting products.
  • Experience supporting process improvement or organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience working in a regulated, government contracting, or similarly compliance-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, facilities planning, or resource allocation processes.

Additional Details

Fusion Innovation anticipates the annual base salary for this position will generally range from $100,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to:

  • Years of direct applicable experience with this work and the Customer
  • Relevant education, certifications, and training
  • Contract labor category requirements, skill level, contract bill rate, and hours allocation
  • Alignment with the position's responsibilities
  • Additional specialized skills
