What the role is about:

Become a vital part of the Hawthorne Gardening team in Tracy, CA! As a Warehouse Associate, you'll handle shipping, receiving, and replenishment while operating equipment like forklifts and order pickers. We're looking for a collaborative team player ready to safely stow product and pull customer orders in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

What you'll do:
  • Execute daily shipping and receiving tasks within a high-volume gardening distribution center
  • Fulfill local customer orders safely and efficiently to meet strict delivery deadlines
  • Process incoming shipments through organized unloading, breakdown, and stowed inventory management
  • Utilize heavy equipment, including forklifts and pallet wrappers, to maintain warehouse flow and safety
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fun, and results-driven team atmosphere

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Maintain high precision and thoroughness in all tasks
  • Prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Exhibit a courteous and professional demeanor at all times
  • Balance speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence
  • Experience with inventory tracking computer programs is a plus
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet riders, etc.) is desirable
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs throughout the day
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Annual Salary Range: $23.65

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
