Anshu Sawhney, Vice President, Syneos One Medical Affairs, Syneos Health

Anshu Sawhney is Vice President and Global Medical Affairs Leader at Syneos Health and is focused on helping small-to medium-sized biopharma companies successfully transition from a clinical to commercial organization often launching their first asset. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, spanning medical affairs, marketing and clinical pharmacy.

Anshu joined Syneos Health in 2020 after serving as a leader at Genentech in the immunology and pulmonary franchises. She also has extensive management consulting experience across various therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, respiratory, dermatology and rare disease.

Before entering the industry, Anshu was a Clinical Pharmacist at leading institutions such as MD Anderson and Mount Sinai Medical Center. She holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Diego Grauman brings over 30 years of healthcare experience. He practiced 12 years as a Radiation Oncologist, and then he has occupied positions of increasing responsibility within the pharma and biotech industry. He held numerous leadership roles at J&J, Novartis, Roche and Oncopeptides.

Diego has global, regional and country experience and has worked and lived in six countries through his career. Before joining Syneos Health as a Medical Lead, Dr. Grauman was the Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Oncopeptides, a Swedish global biotech with offices in Boston and San Francisco. Prior to that role, he served as a Managing Director for Roche Pharmaceuticals in Colombia and General Manager of Novartis Oncology for both Ecuador and Peru.

Rohan Gandhi currently serves as VP of Medical Affairs for Cloudbreak Therapeutics. He brings over 15 years of biotech experience. Rohan earned his PhD in Neuroscience and is a trained in vivo Pharmacologist.

Prior to joining Cloudbreak Therapeutics, he served as VP of Medical Affairs for Autobahn Therapeutics where he spearheaded the development and implementation of medical affairs strategies for novel products in adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN), multiple Sclerosis and depression, with an emphasis and dedication to advancing scientific and medical education. Before joining Autobahn and Cloudbreak, he has worked within medical affairs, translational medicine and pharmacology.
