For more than thirty years, the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) has been the gold standard measure for evaluation of symptom severity in schizophrenia and related disorders. While it has helped to advance research, facilitating the development of new treatments and breakthroughs in psychopharmacology, psychosocial interventions, epidemiology and more, it has been challenging for many to utilize the PANSS effectively.  Access, utility, availability of training and other barriers persisted, particularly for community mental health providers, practitioners of measure-based care and other stakeholders.

In 2025, a new partnership was formed between Mapi Research Trust and the authors and developers of the PANSS to help address these challenges. In this webinar, presenters will discuss how this new partnership will help to make the PANSS more accessible and useful on a global scale.
