Maria Makarovskaya, Clinical Outsourcing Lead, Infinity Pharmaceuticals

Maria Makarovskaya has 18 years of experience in clinical business operations in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry. Areas of expertise include: strategic outsourcing, contract management, financial analysis, global procurement and project management with emphasis on clinical research. She started her career at a site at Rhode Island Hospital and continued at various Pharmaceutical and device companies, including Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Sepracor, Molecular Insight Pharmaceuticals, Boston Scientific and Cubist.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and Linguistics from Moscow Linguistic University and Paralegal Diploma from National Academy for Paralegal Studies from Albertus Magnus College, CT.

Currently Maria is heading Clinical Outsourcing at Infinity Pharmaceuticals.

David Burnham serves as Vice President, Strategic Alliances at INC Research, where he is responsible for developing and nurturing strategic relationships between customers and the CRO. Throughout his 17 years in the industry at CRO, large and small pharma he has worked on Phase I to IV trials, and has significant experience in running global programs in accordance with ICH-GCP from IND to product approval and understands that this cannot be achieved without effective partnerships. David has leveraged his previous experience while at INC Research as the Vice President Strategic Alliance Management to implement a mutually beneficial partnership model with Infinity Pharmaceuticals and move from transactional outsourcing to partnership.
