What Are Your Proudest Life Science Achievements?
I am most proud of helping deliver early phase and first in human clinical programs where precision, cross functional alignment, and disciplined execution truly matter. These studies sit at the most fragile stage of development, and knowing that operational rigor directly supports patient safety is something I take seriously.
I am also proud of stepping into conversations around AI in clinical research with a practical, operations first lens. As a panelist at the AI and Clinical Trials Summit and through ongoing industry engagement, I have focused on advocating for responsible implementation and human accountability in regulated environments.
Founding Trial IQ has been a personal milestone. It reflects my decision to contribute more actively to shaping the dialogue around innovation while staying grounded in real world clinical operations.
What Are Your Day-to-Day Job Highlights?
The best part of my work is turning complex clinical trial strategies into decisions teams can execute. Having worked across site, CRO and academic settings, in close partnership with sponsors, I look for the points where protocol intent and operational reality begin to separate because that is often where timelines, budgets, quality and trust are won or lost.
That perspective shapes how I lead: surface the right issues early, bring the right voices into the decision and keep every choice grounded in the patients behind the protocol.
What Are Your Favorite Life Science Innovations?
My favorite life science innovations are those that improve clarity rather than simply adding complexity.
I am particularly excited by advancements in early phase development that allow for more precise, data informed decision making while maintaining patient safety at the center.
I am also encouraged by the maturation of risk based quality management and data driven oversight models, which move the industry from reactive correction to proactive prevention.
In the AI space, I am most interested in tools that integrate into existing clinical workflows in measurable, accountable ways. Innovation that reduces site burden and enhances traceability, rather than creating parallel systems, is where I see the greatest long term impact.
What Is Your Vision for the Future of the Industry?
My vision for the future of the industry is one where innovation and accountability evolve together.
As AI and advanced analytics become more embedded in clinical research, I believe the differentiator will not be who adopts technology fastest, but who integrates it most responsibly. The future will belong to teams that understand both systems and patients, and who design workflows that enhance clarity rather than increase burden.
I also see a shift toward more disciplined early phase decision making, stronger cross functional alignment, and greater transparency in data traceability. Technology will continue to accelerate development timelines, but human oversight, regulatory rigor, and patient trust must remain central.
If we can balance speed with integrity, the next decade of clinical research will be defined not just by innovation, but by sustainable, measurable progress.
