What Are Your Proudest Life Science Achievements?
Developing a software tool for the first time during my BS (Hons) in Bioinformatics, which strengthened my passion for computational biology and innovation.
Successfully earning my degree in Bioinformatics marked a major milestone in my academic and professional journey.
Winning an international award in 2025, where my project was selected as the first position winner among numerous global applications a moment that truly validated my dedication to advancing science and technology.
What Are Your Day-to-Day Job Highlights?
Developing innovative bioinformatics projects, conducting research for sustainable solutions and advocating for women in STEM and education through outreach and awareness.
What Are Your Favorite Life Science Innovations?
My favorite life science innovations are those that are transforming how we diagnose, treat and interact with biology. I am especially inspired by precision medicine, CRISPR-based gene editing, cutting-edge bioinformatics and 3D bioprinting. I believe the future of life sciences is about personalization, creating therapies and medical solutions that are tailored to each individual’s unique biology. I am also passionate about innovations that merge biology with technology to improve real-world impact, such as data-driven healthcare, sustainable biomaterials and advanced biological simulation models.
What Is Your Vision for the Future of the Industry?
My vision for the future of the life science industry is to create a world where biotechnology, bioinformatics and sustainability work hand in hand to improve lives and protect the planet. I envision a future driven by innovation, inclusivity and ethical science where young minds, especially women, lead breakthroughs that make healthcare accessible, cities greener and technology more human-centered.
