Operations Team Lead – Distribution Center

Job Description
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations, ensuring the efficient execution of tasks and alignment with organizational goals
- Provide direction, training, and support to team members, ensuring full understanding and consistent execution of job duties
- Monitor and report on system performance, making adjustments as necessary to optimize operational efficiency
- Lead and support efforts to identify, analyze, and resolve operational challenges
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and meet performance standards in shipping, receiving, inventory, and other critical functions
- Actively promote safety and compliance with all regulatory standards, including GDP, GMP, and HazMat
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards
- Proactively manage daily tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and reliability
- Perform other duties assigned to support overall distribution center operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of logistics management software preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, variable environment
