Access Program Process Changes to Improve Speed to Therapy
About this webinar
Access programs face growing pressure to improve speed to therapy while navigating increasingly complex vendor claims, automation promises and access workflows. This webinar examines how pharmaceutical teams can evaluate the access program process more effectively before committing to a hub vendor transition.
The featured speaker will walk through the questions that should drive every hub vendor evaluation, the performance signals that most brands are not monitoring closely enough and the operational realities of patient access, including where automation can help or hurt.
Drawing on direct experience with hub program transitions and vendor assessments, this webinar will examine what happens when a program is built on incomplete data processed at high speed, what the actual cost of switching vendors looks like when access continuity is at stake and why the metrics that appear in a vendor’s pitch deck are often the least useful indicators of real program performance.
These challenges can be particularly significant in specialty and rare disease programs, where the complexity of prior authorization pathways, payer variability and patient fragility means that execution gaps have consequences that a better dashboard cannot fix.
Attendees will leave with a practical evaluation framework and a clearer understanding of the difference between a vendor that markets access performance and one that can actually deliver it.

Featured Speakers
Paul Battaglia
Paul Battaglia has spent his career advising pharmaceutical companies on how to build, evaluate and optimize patient services programs. With direct experience across specialty and rare disease hub programs, Paul has seen firsthand how the gap between vendor marketing and operational execution plays out in patient outcomes and brand performance. Having begun his career as a Program Specialist and holding leadership roles at Theracom, Lash Group and Two Labs, he brings a wealth of knowledge from all levels of the access journey. At Elusa Health, Paul works closely with prospective and current partners to ensure the access program structure aligns with the clinical and commercial complexity of the therapies they support.
Lisa Skinner
Lisa Skinner built her career on the operational side of pharmaceutical patient services, spending more than twenty years managing HUB implementations, program transitions, and manufacturer launches. She has led complex onboarding processes at scale, most recently as Director of Operations, Patient Services at Two Labs, where she connected manufacturers to the infrastructure needed to support a drug’s full commercial lifecycle. That work shaped her belief that a well-built implementation is not a formality but the foundation on which a program’s long-term performance depends. At Elusa Health, Lisa serves as Sr. Director, Implementation, translating new partnerships into programs ready to handle the clinical and commercial demands of the therapies they support.
