Adam Borenstein, Managing Director, Accenture

Adam Borenstein is a Managing Director at Accenture shaping the next era of intelligent laboratory science. He is the Global Lead of Accenture’s Laboratory Reinvention practice focused on transforming Research, Development, and QC laboratories by applying AI, automation, and modern scientific informatics to dramatically increase scientific productivity and innovation outcomes. With over 25 years of experience in laboratory transformation, Adam works with leading life sciences, consumer goods, chemicals, and government research organizations to modernize lab operations, enable AI‑ready data foundations, and scale next‑generation, digitally enabled research models. He is a recognized thought leader in the “Lab of the Future” and leads Accenture’s collaboration with ecosystem partners, including Microsoft, to advance AI‑driven discovery platforms and connected lab environments

Lily Kim, GM, Microsoft Discovery & Quantum

Lily Kim is General Manager for Microsoft Discovery, Microsoft’s next-generation agentic AI platform for research and development, where she leads customer advisory, product-engineering collaboration, and life sciences strategy. She serves as a bridge between early strategic customers and engineering, translating real-world R&D needs into roadmap priorities and adoption programs. Her broader career spans Azure Government, the Vanguard Customer Engineering Program, the U.S. Department of Defense, and IBM, with experience building large-scale cloud programs, aligning executive stakeholders, and scaling complex technical initiatives across regulated industries.

Ash Jogalekar, Senior Program Manager, Microsoft Discovery and Quantum

Ash Jogalekar is a senior program manager in the life sciences group at Microsoft Discovery and Quantum. Before joining Microsoft, he worked for over 20 years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, designing drugs for cancer and immunology and building remote cloud labs for robotic drug discovery.
Ash is also a scientist in residence at the non-profit Oppenheimer Project, where he works on emerging technology risks. He has published more than 15 papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-inventor on 10 patents. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry from Emory University.
