In recent years, the field of RNA-based vaccine products has grown rapidly. Methods for robust characterization of mRNA constructs and gene products have particularly lagged rapidly evolving research needs. In this webinar, the expert speakers will focus on a multiplexed imaging platform that is engineered to address needs in mRNA and vaccine drug product characterization.

The imaging system is capable of measuring multiple critical attributes in a high-throughput benchtop format and is fully compliant with good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements. For mRNA characterization, individual mRNA constructs can be identified along with the quantity, intactness and capping efficiency in less than 60 minutes. For complete drug product characterization, the levels of expressed protein or antibody response in serological samples can be measured.

The expert speakers will present an overview of the VaxArray technology and its utility at all stages of mRNA vaccine drug product processing and characterization. They will demonstrate multiplexed measurements of antigen and mRNA quantity, sequence identity, capping efficiency and immune response.

Register for this webinar today to understand how a multiplexed imaging platform can be used to determine mRNA capping and address mRNA vaccine drug product characterization requirements.

Speaker

Randy Lacey, PhD, Field Applications Scientist, InDevR

Randy Lacey, PhD, is a native of Tennessee where he completed his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Austin Peay State University prior to completing his doctoral studies in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Tennessee. Following his PhD studies, Randy worked as a postdoctoral research fellow first at Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque, New Mexico and then at Victoria University of Wellington in Wellington, New Zealand. At both stops, his research was focused on identifying and developing solutions for critical environmental issues.

With a diverse scientific background, Randy joined InDevR almost 2 years ago as a Field Application Scientist. As an FAS, he is focused on implementing and supporting InDevR’s VaxArray platform for use throughout all stages of vaccine and biotherapeutic development and manufacturing.
