What Does It Take for Patient Recruitment and Retention to be Successful?

Join Cynthia Pan of Amgen and Michael Stadler of Clariness to learn more about formative approaches to patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials. This webinar will highlight the fundamentals of effective patient recruitment and discuss the new standards for success in today’s complex clinical trials. A case study from a recent global mega trial will be used to help illustrate not only how the process works, but how it can be scaled for clinical studies involving larger volumes of patients.

Most patient engagement and recruitment efforts get one or two of these elements right, but patient recruitment and retention, the ultimate pre-requisite for clinical trial success – is critically dependent on the integration of these three operational pillars:

  • Outreach Approach – to segment and target the intended patient population with effective tactics
  • Robust Technology– to streamline and connect the moving parts of clinical trial enrollment, from patient outreach to randomization
  • Site and Patient support – to help reduce the labor burden on investigative sites, improve productivity within existing patient populations and support efforts to enroll new patient

Key Learning Objectives:

  • Gain knowledge of essential operational pillars for successful patient recruitment and retention
  • Understand the growing importance and the cost benefits of using digital initiatives in patient recruitment efforts
  • Learn how a global recruitment strategy can be adapted on a country-specific level
