Karen Rosenzweig, Senior Director, US Operations, Clariness

Karen Rosenzweig is Senior Director, US Operations. With oversight of U.S.-based projects, she is responsible for successful execution of recruitment and feasibility services. A bioPharmaceutical industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience spanning all areas of drug development, Karen joined Clariness in 2012. She has served in a broad mix of digital patient recruitment, project management and scientific positions at Novartis, Eisai and Ciba Geigy (later acquired by Novartis). In addition, she has extensive clinical trial management experience, with focused expertise in hypertension, congestive heart failure and renal disease.

During her tenure at Novartis, Karen successfully launched and managed two novel websites, including Investigator Portal, the industry’s first global website for trial communication and documentation distribution, and NovartisClinicalTrials.com, a US website for patient recruitment. Karen began her career conducting basic research in animal models where she explored novel modes of drug delivery. Karen holds a bachelor of science degree in veterinary science from Mercy College, and received an associate of applied science degree in veterinary technology from the State University of New York in Delhi, NY.
