Antibodies, and more recently VHH, are the cornerstone in the fields of life science, medicine, and biotechnology, enabling the development of therapeutics and diagnostics, and serving as valuable research agents. So, obtaining good quality and reliable kinetic data is crucial to choose the best candidates. However, access to overused, shared instruments, long assay times or clogging due to complex media are frequently observed problems that delay or hinder the obtention of kinetic information.
With the easy-to-use dip-in fiber optic technology, WHITE FOx provides a convenient solution to the need for rapid, reliable protein quantitation and binding kinetics analysis from sampled culture media at your bench. Moreover, real-time measurements and flexibility in assay design provide a means to address the challenges related to experimental design. Regardless of the format of your sample source, whether it is microplates or bioreactors, WHITE FOx gives you the ability to analyze target proteins directly in your lab with no compromises in workflow planning.
In this webinar, we will demonstrate how easy and convenient it is to perform kinetic interaction experiments on your benchtop, with a short time to result in a standard microtiter plate format.
Developability is a critical factor in the discovery and selection of future biologicals. The inclusion of early second-line assays that allow mimicking biologically relevant conditions while providing an affinity-based ranking of candidates may help bridge the gap between early-stage discovery and subsequent development stages.
The elimination of fluidics by using dip-in fiber-optic sensing opens up new application possibilities, particularly in more complex samples from cell supernatant over bioreactor to even biofluids such as serum, plasma or blood using the same methodology across the R&D stages.
Join this webinar and see how you can benefit from direct access to kinetic analysis and improve your discovery and development workflow through early selection.
Speakers
Filip Delport, CTO, FOx BIOSYSTEMS
Filip Delport started his professional career with a PhD in Bionanotechnology at the Bioengineering faculty of KU Leuven. He was awarded an IWT innovation mandate scholarship at KU Leuven to prepare the fiber optic biosensor technology for the creation of a spin-off company.
Together with a group of other young PhD students, he won the Battle of Talents competition for young entrepreneurs in Belgium. As CTO of FOx BIOSYSTEMS, he manages the technological, biotechnical, regulatory, innovation, management and financial aspects needed to create the next-generation fiber-optic SPR biosensor.
Laura Marin Fernandez, Field Application Specialist, FOx BIOSYSTEMS
Laura Marin Fernandez holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Oviedo. She completed her post-doc in Molecular Microbiology at the Institute of Integrative Cell Biology of the Université Paris-Sud, and held a position as Research Assistant in the Functionality and Protein Engineering unit at the CNRS in Nantes, France.
She is currently responsible for supporting customer applications on molecular interaction analysis across the biotech industry and academia in South Europe.
