Brian Arntsen attended the Catholic University in Buenos Aires Argentina, graduating with an agricultural engineering degree and a postgraduate degree in business management at the I.A.E Buenos Aires. He joined Lockwood & Co, eventually becoming CEO. He joined Zenon Environmental Inc., holding leadership roles of increasing responsibility with Zenon, GE Water and SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions. He’s currently the Global Domain Leader for Ultrafiltration Membrane Bioreactors (UFMB) at SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions.

Brian is also an active leader in industry organizations: from 2001-2003 he was Section Director of Argentine Association of Sanitary Engineering Environmental Sciences (AIDIS). From 2014 till present, he is a member of the Industrial Wastewater Committee at the Water Environmental Federation (WEF), from 2016 till present, he is a member of the organizing committee and wastewater session chair at the Food & Beverage Environmental Conference (FBEC). In 2017, Brian was appointed Food & Beverage subcommittee chair of the Industrial Wastewater Committee at WEF. In 2020 he was appointed Vice-chair of WEF Industrial Wastewater Committee (IWCC). Brian has published more than two dozen papers and was a speaker in more than 30 conferences and symposiums during 37 years of his career.
