What Are Your Proudest Life Science Achievements?
I’ve always believed that strong scientific grounding paired with curiosity can take you far. I moved from the bench into global product management without an MBA, and that transition has allowed me to bring both scientific credibility and business strategy to the table. I’ve leveraged my US network to drive meaningful savings and bring in new partnerships. At Kemwell, where I previously worked, I had the privilege of strengthening the company’s global presence through thought leadership and international conferences.
What Are Your Day-to-Day Job Highlights?
I lead CDMO initiatives for North America and emerging markets at Shilpa Biologicals, where I work closely with biotech and pharmaceutical companies to establish strategic partnerships and advance business opportunities. My day involves customer engagement, understanding program requirements, developing proposals, coordinating with cross-functional teams, gathering market insights and collaborating with leadership to drive business growth and expansion.
What Are Your Favorite Life Science Innovations?
My favorite life science innovations include the cloning of Dolly the sheep, the first mammal cloned from an adult somatic cell, which opened a new era in regenerative medicine and developmental biology; lab-grown meat; and CRISPR gene-edited mosquitoes that cannot spread malaria. They are equal parts science and magic.
What Is Your Vision for the Future of the Industry?
My vision is a biopharma industry where sustainable manufacturing is a strategic priority, AI accelerates smarter and faster decision-making and partnerships replace transactional engagements. Customers do not just seek capacity; they seek true collaboration powered by data, intelligence and shared purpose.
