Closing the Cardiovascular Site Gap:
Intelligence Meets Site Expansion
About this webinar
Cardiovascular trials are becoming harder to execute. Patient populations increasingly overlap across competing studies and sponsors who rely on the same historically top-performing sites face diminishing returns as those sites reach capacity, fatigue or age out of the pipeline.
This webinar examines how cardiovascular trial delivery is evolving from a CRO perspective. Fortrea will introduce its new Feasibility Intelligence Engine (FIE), which brings together historical experience, internal trial history and external datasets into a single, unified platform, giving teams one consolidated source of truth to identify patterns, estimate patient populations and prioritize the strongest countries and sites. For sponsors, this means faster proposal turnaround, sharper country and site prioritization, real-time scenario modeling and a meaningfully reduced risk of under-enrollment, giving them a clearer, faster path from protocol to study start.
FIE’s depth of trial and real-world data provides sponsors with a sharper view of their existing site landscape and that same intelligence becomes even more powerful when paired with an actively expanding, on-the-ground site network. Dan Robitaille from Velocity, a diversified site partner working across many therapeutic areas, will share how new and non-traditional sites, particularly those with strong patient access, are identified and developed to become trial-ready, expanding the pool of sites sponsors can draw on.
Through operational and strategic lenses, the speakers will discuss how pairing trial intelligence with an actively growing site network addresses two needs at once: sharper decisions on the sites already in play today and a broader, more diverse pool for tomorrow’s studies.
Designed for biotech and biopharma teams managing complex, competitive cardiovascular programs, this session brings both perspectives together to address what it actually takes to keep a cardiovascular site pool healthy, without losing time, quality or sponsor confidence.
Register for this webinar to learn how combining feasibility intelligence with site expansion can strengthen site selection, reduce enrollment risks and improve cardiovascular trials.

What you will learn
- Recognize the risks of relying on the same historically top-performing cardiovascular sites and what diminishing returns mean for delivery timelines
- Understand how Fortrea’s Feasibility Intelligence Engine (FIE) strengthens study feasibility, from faster proposal turnaround and protocol design support to sharper country and site prioritization
- Connect intelligence-driven site selection with an expanding site network to achieve faster site identification and more predictable enrollment
- Identify high-potential, non-traditional sites with strong patient access that can be developed into trial-ready partners
- Apply practical approaches to diversifying and future-proofing a cardiovascular site pool, rather than repeatedly returning to the same sites
- Evaluate what a combined intelligence-plus-partner model means for study start-up timelines and sponsor decision-making
