Medical science liaisons (MSLs) within pharmaceutical companies deal in a special currency: scientific exchange and real-world insights gathering. Only they can share certain types of information with a growing number of medical stakeholders and provide medical insights to guide strategic development and brand decisions. Yet, can anyone be certain that this highly valuable currency is being spent wisely?

While the medical science liaison role is expanding across all stages of pharmaceutical development and to encompass a growing number of audiences, the industry is struggling to measure the impact of medical science liaison activities. What types of engagement work best? Where should limited resources be directed? Overall, what value does the function deliver in quantifiable terms?

Until now, this has been a guessing game. However, the race is on to develop the right key performance indicators, training, measurement tools and processes for gauging the impact of medical science liaison teams and ultimately improving outcomes.

This webinar will unravel the challenges in quantifying medical science liaisons’ value, explore how these teams are enhancing impact through strategic engagement, unpack new ways of measuring value beyond output and illustrate how companies can further empower medical science liaisons with data-driven artificial intelligence (AI)/tech-enabled solutions.

Do not miss this opportunity to gain actionable strategies for maximizing the value of medical science liaison teams and driving better outcomes in pharmaceutical development.
