Unlocking Superior R&D Results: Mastering the FSP Model

  • Monday, February 05, 2024

In general, large pharmaceutical companies favor adopting functional service provider (FSP) models over full-service outsourcing across their clinical and research and development (R&D) operations.

FSPs allow for greater oversight and can offer better outcomes regarding accelerated delivery and higher quality data. For the most part, though, only large pharmaceutical companies have been positioned to take advantage of FSP models. Their organizational maturity has afforded them this competitive advantage.

But must FSP models be the exclusive domain of the largest companies? Can smaller companies benefit from working with a contract research organization (CRO) through an FSP model?

During this webinar, participants will delve into the explorative realm of FSP models, particularly how to curate them for mid-sized companies to elevate their clinical trial performance. Experts will discuss how to strategically formulate an FSP partnership, customized to meet your company’s distinctive needs, ensuring a mutually beneficial collaboration that addresses and anticipates specific clinical trial demands. There will be an overview of the critical first steps and decisions in the FSP journey, including the methodology behind conducting a thorough readiness assessment, architecting a sustainable resourcing strategy and endorsing a solution that’s exemplary for study requirements.

The webinar will demystify the pathway that enables smaller companies to derive palpable value and enhance their competitive stance through engaging with CROs via an adeptly implemented FSP model, opening doors to augmented oversight, optimized outcomes and a future-proofed clinical trial landscape.
