Kenta Imai, PhD, leads Business Development and Marketing for Consumables and Devices supporting regenerative medicine and cell therapy at Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. He oversees the global commercialization of CELLNETTA, the world’s first metal cell fractionation filter.

Dr. Imai earned his PhD from the Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences at Osaka University and has more than a decade of experience in cell biology research and precision device development. He has been involved with CELLNETTA since its early development through commercialization, helping define its technical requirements and application strategy in collaboration with cell therapy developers and academic researchers. His experience spans applications including CAR-T manufacturing, stem cell isolation and single-cell analysis.
