What Are Your Proudest Life Science Achievements?
My proudest achievements include making significant contributions to and earning third authorship on a Nature publication; earning first authorship of a technical paper; delivering my first industry talk at SLAS 2026; winning the AI+LabAutomation Hackathon in July 2025; and contributing to efforts supporting shingles vaccine work for the Serum Institute of India and GreenLight Biosciences.
What Are Your Day-to-Day Job Highlights?
My day-to-day work involves translating voice-of-customer insights, cutting-edge scientific research and competitive intelligence into inputs that support product and portfolio strategy within Varian’s theranostics focus area. Staying current is particularly important in dynamic fields like radiopharmaceutical therapy, where each new day brings a new clinical or commercial development.
What Are Your Favorite Life Science Innovations?
My favorite life science innovation is theranostics, particularly its potential to transform cancer care, improve clinical outcomes and provide a better quality of life for patients and their families. In the future, this class of pharmaceutical products may enable more personalized treatment for patients who have limited options today. It is encouraging to see multiple clinical specialties bridge clinical silos and come together to provide the best care for the patient.
What Is Your Vision for the Future of the Industry?
My vision is accessible and equitable cancer care. While underserved patients continue to face significant barriers to care globally, every patient deserves to be treated with care and dignity. With the right innovations and partnerships, I believe the healthcare industry can collectively translate this vision into reality.
