The Expanding Peptide Conjugate Landscape:
Strategies for Complex Peptide Synthesis
About this webinar
With peptide conjugate therapies achieving blockbuster sales and around 300 peptide-drug conjugates having entered clinical development, interest is expanding across new conjugate types and therapeutic applications. This webinar examines practical approaches to navigating the synthesis and development challenges associated with increasingly complex peptide conjugates.
Radionuclide-drug conjugates (RDCs), peptide-drug conjugates (PDCs), peptide-oligonucleotide conjugates (POCs)/peptide phosphorodiamidate morpholino oligomers (PPMOs) and antibody-peptide conjugates (APCs) pose distinct synthesis challenges shaped by peptide structure, linker and payload properties and conjugation chemistry. Following a brief overview of these conjugate types, the featured speaker will discuss how synthesis strategy, route selection and downstream processing work together to meet purity, scale and timeline requirements. Case studies will demonstrate how these approaches are applied in practice, including the influence of conjugation, purification and analytical methods on project execution.
The session will also examine how peptide synthesis connects with peptide DNA-encoded library (DEL), biology, chemistry and early-stage CMC capabilities, providing additional context for the development of complex peptide conjugates.
Register for this webinar to learn how peptide synthesis strategies can support the purity, scale and execution of complex peptide conjugate programs.
