Building Fit-for-Purpose Oncology Real-World Evidence in Japan
About this webinar
Japan is one of the world’s largest oncology markets and an increasingly important part of global real-world evidence (RWE) strategies. Yet oncology RWE in Japan has developed differently than in the US and Europe, shaped by distinct data sources, care delivery models and evolving sponsor needs across clinical development, medical affairs and evidence planning.
As sponsors expand their global evidence programs, Japanese data has become central to a representative RWE strategy. In this panel discussion, experts from across the industry will discuss how global biopharma teams can succeed with Japan RWE programs. Topics will include:
- How oncology RWE adoption in Japan compares to other major markets and what’s driving recent momentum
- What distinguishes fit-for-purpose Japanese EHR-derived real-world data (RWD) from claims or registry datasets
- Industry perspectives on data quality, completeness and relevance for real-world research
- Practical considerations for global teams partnering with local experts on Japan evidence strategies
Register for this webinar to learn how RWE can support fit-for-purpose oncology evidence strategies in Japan.
